Haha yeah now I see it. Any chance you have a red Hood file? I've been looking for one for awhile now.

Hey there, the helm looks amazing, which it's even better is that is straight out the models from the game... Which makes me want to ask you... If you could extract the models for Sentinel in his regular and alternative costume from Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 and make them into papercraft as well?

I would love to have Sentinel heads around here, it would be funny xD

If I could find the extracted models online, I shall. Since I don't extract them I have to wait until they show up online.

Looking around, sadly I couldn't find any of Sentinel... However I found several of other characters in case you ever need them or someone else reading this. ( [link] [link] )

Hmm... Another thing I wanted to ask if not much bother, if you knew where I could find a tutorial to edit models to fit them into Pepakura (for dummies) the only experience I have with 3D models is from AutoCAD and is not really friendly with models like it...

The reason is, I'm planning to do a Doctor Doom costume based off the appearance from MvC3, I already found the pattern for the mask/helmet and I just found the model ([link]) in theory it should be easy enough to draw the patterns of the arms and leggings from there ><;

I'll work up the Doom limbs so you could make them in the EVA foam method.

And don't know of any good tutorials, but if you can port any model into an obj format, pepakura can read it.

Wow. This looks incredibly awesome. It's a kinda cross between Extremis and the Movie version. This actually looks a lot simpler to build than the others I've seen. Which is a good thing, nothing is more frustrating than assembling a 26 page helmet with tab numbers that hit 1000.

Just out of curiosity, would you be making this available as a PDF any time in the near future? I would be interested in trying to assemble a helmet like this one, it's quite different from all the others I've seen so far and would make an interesting challenge.

Hullo!
Thanks for the reply.

An a4 would suit me perfectly - that is of course if you mean paper size.

haha, I meant the scale of the helmet. How wide in your head, in cm ideally.

I'm assuming you mean the circumference? That would be about 154 Cm around the top of my head. Maybe 14/15 cm width wise if you where to measure from ear to ear face on. Hopefully that makes sense to you! 8D

Haha, it does. And I needed the ear to ear. Pepakura scales the 3D model by it's exact dimensions, not scaled up for "sizes". Anyway. expect a message with a link shortly.
